About

I remember when I first heard Tom Antion discuss direct response marketing in 2002, I was immediately hooked.

His works about being able to command sales with a persuasive sales copy and measure how people reacted – whether it be to sign-up for a newsletter or purchase a product – struck me with awe.

I was such an innovative concept, one that opened my eyes to a new realm of possibilities.

Since then, I have been passionate about the art of direct response marketing and all the opportunities it had to offer.

I had the opportunity to attend the inaugural Big Seminar in San Francisco, organized by Armand Morrin.

At the event, I encountered some of the most celebrated online marketers including Frank Kern, Eben Pagan, Yanik Silver, and John Reese.

This was a turning point for me; upon returning home, I started my own online business in the form of an online course to help women with weight loss, mental clarity and diet management through the acid alkaline diet.

To build the website hosting this course, I learned how to use FrontPage, Dreamweaver and XSite Pro.

After attending a Google AdWords workshop conducted by Perry Marshall, I began running campaigns on Google AdWords as well.

I used my newfound knowledge to further develop by online marketing skills by attending internet marketing conferences and copywriting bootcamps.

As a result of these efforts, by business continued to grow.

Within a few years my email list had over 350,000 subscribers and the business was generating over $500,000 a year in revenue.

The missing piece of the puzzle

As an ambitious online business owner, I came to a realization that I was missing a major piece of the puzzle in order to continue to grow my online business.

I knew that it would take hiring a team in order to make it happen.

Yet, I didn’t have any experience in hiring a team member.

I decided to go out there and find a company that would teach me this essential skill.

I discovered Early to Rise, a division of Agora Publishing company. With my resume on hand, I walked into their office and asked for any job they had available so I could learn from the best direct response marketers out there.

They gave me a job the next day and I spend the next four years learning everything from how to design effective sales funnels to managing teams and developing winning backend products. Working under the guidance of Michael Masterson (also known as Mark Ford), one of the most renowned figures in marketing, along with many others, was undoubtedly one of the greatest experiences of my life – it felt like obtaining a Master’s Degree in Business and Marketing on steroids!

I left Agora to pursue my personal goals but I still practice many of the strategies learned there today.

Most importantly, I learned that paying for advertising are not only expensive but unnecessary if you can read out to brands that are targeting your customers or are already serving them.

and of course, there are a lot of things that have changed in my life since that first online business

Today, I live in Marietta, Georgia with my husband Steve, two amazing daughters and two English Spring Spaniels.

For the past 8 years, I have been managing an affiliate program for a multi-million dollar nutritional supplement company, Advanced Bionutritionals.

Having developed an immense passion for finding, recruiting, activating and motivating affiliates, I am dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and business owners grow their sales, customers, and leads using affiliates and partnership marketing.

I love this “win-win” approach to online marketing. It’s incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.

What’s more, I enjoy keeping up with the latest trends in affiliate marketing that I am continually discovering through managing the Advanced Bionutritionals affiliate program and coaching affiliate managers, entrepreneurs, and business owners for the East 5th Avenue Affiliate Marketing Training company.
